Terence and Jill Smith are a real and relatable couple who found love later in life, proving that it’s never too late for true romance. Both in their 50s when they met, they discovered a deep connection that transcended their past experiences and disappointments. Their journey together is a testament to the power of faith, love, and divine timing.
Terence, a U.S. Marine veteran with a passion for motivating others, and Jill, a nurturing spirit with a background in public service, initially crossed paths on a dating site, which led to Facebook. Their shared values and commitment to their faith sparked an instant bond, leading them to pursue a relationship built on God’s Word. After a beautiful courtship, they tied the knot, celebrating their love story as a God-ordained union.
Inspired by their journey, Terence and Jill launched their YouTube channel, aptly named “A God-Ordained Union.” Through this platform, they aim to inspire singles who desire to experience the joy of marriage. They share candid conversations about their relationship, practical advice in dating/courting, and the importance of faith in finding a partner. Their mission is to increase kingdom marriages.
As they often remind their audience, “For the Lord God is a sun and shield: the Lord will give grace and glory: no good thing will he withhold from them that walk uprightly.” (Psalm 84:11). Terence and Jill are living proof that love can flourish at any age, and they are excited to share their story and insights with the world, fostering hope and faith in the hearts of those seeking a lifelong partner.
